So, this is quite an interesting passage that you’ve created here. I find that through your attempt at exploring Marbarn realism brings out a small, how do I describe it… childish sense of excitement and discovery for me. Your detailed description of the unique characters helps establish the world that you have created. Although it seems you’ve created a magical world, I don’t think it achieves magical realism in a great scale, your passage doesn’t seem ‘real’ enough for the magical moments of the story to stand out in the way, I believe, you were hoping.
It is still, however, a well written and entertaining passage to read.

But overall you have short-changed yourself with your not completing the required number of reviews… etc. You are SO GOOD in class, why deprive yourself of these easy-to-get marks in the blogs. Maybe next semester you could get yourself better organised with this. Despite your initial fears, the quality of what you have produced here is excellent!
